Introduction

Ngôi chùa Thiên Thai Phật tích tại Wellington là nơi thiêng liêng tại Wellington, New Zealand, là nơi mà các tín đồ, người tu hành và và khách tụ hội gặp để khám phá những lời dạy tâm đắc của Phật giáo Việt Nam. Chùa Thiên Thai Phật tích cam kết sâu sắc trong việc nuôi dưỡng sự phát triển tinh thần, tạo điều kiện cho sự hòa hợp trong cộng đồng và tôn vinh di sản văn hóa phong phú của Việt Nam.

Our Philosophy

Our monastery’s philosophy is deeply rooted in the core tenets of Vietnamese Buddhism, emphasizing compassion, wisdom, and mindfulness as the path to inner peace and enlightenment. Thien Thai serves as a sanctuary for meditation, prayer, education, and cultural exchange, embodying these principles in all aspects of its existence.

General Policies

  • Respect for All: We embrace diversity and inclusivity, ensuring that every individual, regardless of background, is greeted with respect and dignity within our monastery.
  • Non-Discrimination: We strictly adhere to a non-discrimination policy, upholding the principle that no one should be judged or treated unfairly based on their race, gender, age, or any other personal characteristic.
  • Silent and Mindful Atmosphere: Our monastery premises are maintained in a tranquil and contemplative ambiance, facilitating meditation and prayer for all who seek it.
  • Dress Code: Devotees are kindly requested to dress modestly and, in a manner respectful to the sacred space of the monastery.
  • Offering Etiquette: We encourage devotees to make offerings with utmost sincerity and reverence.
  • Use of Technology: Mobile phones and electronic devices should be silenced and used discreetly within the monastery to minimize distractions.
  • Food and Beverage: Consuming food and beverages is restricted to designated areas to maintain the sanctity of the monastery’s interior.
